February 8th marks the commencement of ‘Dark Invasion’, as an eclectic mix of creatures descends upon Los Angeles’ TOY ART GALLERY (TAG).
Galaxy People will be joining a decidedly alien 3 week occupation alongside Devil’s Head Prod, Guumon, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, Paul Kaiju and Scarecrowoven. Expect limited runs, one-offs, toy debuts and old friends, this monsterous assault will not be one soon forgot.

Galaxy People SuperFestival 63 releases!
SuperFest 63 is just round the corner, and with it comes the next release from the ‘Galaxy People’. New Glow in the Dark editions of Helios, Meklops and The Grappler. Limited to only 5 each, left overs will go up in the web store after the event.

The debut Sofubi Galaxy People release is less than a week away!
Three figures; Meklops, The Grappler and a new hero Helios.
Approximately 115mm tall, the first release will take place courtesy of『PARALYZING TOYZ』(booth no. 8-28-09), at WonderFestival, Makuhari Messe on the Sunday 28th July.
Price is 2500 yen each.
While numbers are very limited a few sets will also be held back for a web release at 11:00pm, 28th July (Japanese Time) on the Galaxy People store site.

ILANENA 10th Anniversary Dai Kaiju Card Monsters Custom Toy Show kicks off tomorrow at the Alternative Cafe in Nakano (8th February 2011). Over 24 national and international artists are partaking in this exhibition, combining Ilanena’s trio of kaiju with their own imaginations to create some truly mind-blowing customs. I got a preview of some of the sets at Wonderfestival over the weekend, and there are some really amazing works in this show.
It’s going to be a definite must-see if you are anywhere near Tokyo over the next week and a half.

Been busy working on new header card art. If things go according to plan the grappler should be up in the shop within the week.

My most productive sketching time seems to be between Chigasaki and Fujisawa on the Tokaido line, with aliens drawn on receipts and on the bottom of crossword puzzles. The sketches are usually finished waaay before the crosswords are. Here are a few of those little rushed drawings, showing the next push in the Galaxy People line: the villains
